Flex-On Stirrups
Flex-On stirrups are built around one idea: the shock from every landing should go into the stirrup, not into you. Shock-absorbing elastomers sit between the frame and the footbed and take out the impact that would otherwise travel up through your ankles, knees, hips and back. The wide ergonomic footbed holds your foot where you put it, so your lower leg stays quiet and your heel stays down.
Riders who have suffered with sore ankles, knees or backs are usually the ones who notice the difference first.

Inclined or flat? Grip or Ultra Grip?
- Inclined footbed — angled so your heel drops and your leg stays still. The usual choice for jumping. A small number of riders get ankle or calf tension from the angle. If that sounds familiar, go flat.
- Flat footbed — the traditional feel. Usually chosen for dressage and flatwork.
- Grip tread — a textured composite surface. Plenty for everyday riding.
- Ultra Grip tread — adds stainless steel studs. It keeps gripping even when the footbed picks up sand and grit. Most of our customers choose Ultra Grip.
Make them yours
On most models you choose the frame color, the footbed color, the footbed type, the tread and the shock absorber color. The magnetic sticker on the side can be swapped for another color or design at any time, so you can change the look without buying new stirrups.
