Fager Jack Sweet Iron Fixed Rings Bit
Description
Fager's Jack bit is a double-jointed Sweet Iron bit. The Sweet Iron material naturally oxidized and rusts when in use. This oxidation process creates a 'sweet' taste which increases an encourages salivation and thus encourages the horse to actively seek the contact.
The shape of the mouthpiece, combined with the short centerpiece eliminates any palate interference as the breakover is positioned towards the outside of the tongue. The roller gives the horse something to play with, making Jack a good choice if the horse feels stiff in the mouth.
Fager Jack is a good choice if you would describe your horse as the following;:
- Inconsistent in the connection
- Slow to react to your aids
- Feels stiff and fixed to ride
- Is sensitive to bar pressure
